comments: I was surprised to find this website. I was just in Sabina recently to visit the graves of my ancestors who lived in Sabina. They are buried in the Sabina Cemetery. The family names are STIVERS and HODGE. Doing a Genealogy project on both families so if you are related you can contact me at Sandi3847@aol.com and we can share info. Nice webpage!

comments: My son in San Diego called and directly me to this site. Pretty bad since my father-in-law, Grant Whiteside of the TonJon business is mentioned here. Gib remembers a lot of what is mentioned in this and the other articles. Very nicely written. Thank you for doing the homework which goes along with writing such informative articles. I will be back to see what is new on the site.

comments: Heard about the web site and thought I would check it out. But how about some Sabina history for "visitors" like Billy Ray Anders and Robert Thoroman. If memory serves me correctly, Billy Ray was a successful walk on receiver for Ohio State back in the days of Woody Hayes [back in the day that Sabina did not have a football team - apparently those Sunday tackle games at the High School really payed off for him]. Billy caught about everything thrown his direction. And Robert Thoroman was the first football player (maybe the only runner the whole season) to score on undefeated, unscored upon and 8th ranked in the state Paint Valley in 1969. Sabina history, yessiree. Thor, send me an e-mail; jimwoodf@gcisolutions.com

comments: We received funding from Council On Aging to start some caregiver support groups in Clinton County. We started one at the Sabina Public Library which will be held on July 23, at 3:00. Free, everyone is welcome!! In hopes of finding some information about Sabina I went searching on the Internet. Your town is beautiful! You have a great website. It is so hard to find any information about Sabina in Cincinnati because our phone books extend only to Warren County. I am very thankful for your website. See you soon in July!

comments: Sabina is a great little town enriched with the greatest people on earth. I can say those strong words because I know most of the people. It is so awesome to sit here at my computer in the frozen arctic and read about the current and past happenings of "The Eden of Ohio". Joy Dun Shoemaker thank you so much for the energy the time and the knowledge you have brought into my home. I also wish to thank Peggy Dunn for all she has done. Now, click your heels 3 times and repeat after me: There's no place like home, there's no place like home. Thank you so very much.

comments: One of my cousins just e-mailed a newspaper article about a vinegar pump which was made in Sabina, Ohio. My great grandfather (Thomas Elwood Moon) had the patent on the pump.

We still have the patent. If interested I will send you a copy. I have been trying for years to find the pump but was unsuccessful. If you have a better picture of the pump would you please send it to me. I guess my great grandfather was an inventor. We have many patents of his on other things that he had invented.
