It
was Beryl "Buck" Carter
Day in Sabina on June 4,
2004.
A
group of friends, county
officials, family, and
former students gathered
at the museum to show
their appreciation to a
man who has given of his
time and energy to make
things better for
everyone.
Carter
taught at Sabina High
School where he coached
varsity, reserve, and
junior high basketball
at the same time as well
as baseball. His
basketball record was
222 wins out of 398
games.
The
day of celebration ended
with those present
telling their favorite
heartwarming stories or
comments about what it
was like to have Carter
as a friend, teacher,
coach, or counselor.
